Pre-Budget Workshop this Monday
This coming Monday the Lauderhill City Commission will hold a workshop meeting. But this workshop is going to be a little different than most. Commissioners will be taking pre-budget requests from residents for the 2014-2015 fiscal year budget.
Last year only two residents (both from the same neighborhood) showed up to provide input. According to the Sun-Sentinel’s account one resident asked that the budget include security cameras at Westwind and Veterans Parks. Another requested that a dog park be funded. Although it is not clear if these items were included in last year’s budget, it is apparent that they have not yet come to fruition.
The workshop begins at 7:00 in the Commission Chamber at City Hall.
