Halloween may be a few weeks away, but thanks to Mother Nature things at West Wind Park are already scary. This morning I got my lazy butt out of bed to go jogging. The sun was shining. The birds were singing. But then I noticed something. Several trees and lamp posts are shrouded by large spider webs. And in those webs were the most ginormous arachnids I have ever seen outside of a zoo. The largest one was at least eight inches long. I have no idea whether or not these spiders are venomous, but they sure are creepy.
